I have been a resident of the South Bay beach cities for over 25 years. After having a successful business career and raising a family, I decided to take my many years of volunteer dog training (Guide Dogs of America, SPCA Los Angeles) and start a second career. Building on my college degree in psychology, I returned to school at Mt. San Antonio College to expand my knowledge of Learning Theory and Dog Ethology. After completing a training apprenticeship in Chino, CA, I was lucky enough to start training at Grateful Dogs' Clubhouse, where I have had the pleasure of teaching hundreds of lessons to both dogs and their owners.

I consider myself to be a "cross-over" teacher/trainer. Old school "jerk and pull" training was all that was available years ago, but I didn't find it to be consistently effective or enjoyable. By using the scientific methods of Learning Theory, one can get great results and have fun too. To better serve my clients, I regularly attend educational workshops and seminars to expand my knowledge and expertise.

My full resume and references are available on request.
